"Collaboration of food and container." This plan was born no less than 18 years ago. I had an exhibition at Nara then. Mr. Yoneda, a master of "Hanayashiro" visited and thought he wanted to serve his cooking with dishes of my making. The plan that had been brought up for 18 years has come off at last.

Pottery has developed as containers in which food is served. We can feel more delicious when we eat with special containers and feel very comfortable by a good match of colors and feel of dish and food, it can be said that we taste by eyes. They are closely connected with each other.
The sight of Mr. Yoneda's cooking served with dishes that were made for this plan specially, made my mouth water, I am sorry for low expression, it increased my appetite.

Yellow leaves are beautiful this season especially in Kyoto, when we look out of a window we could see the Takase River running through calmly. I am thinking it is delightful that I am a Japanese.
Having a dinner in a quiet Japanese room feeling tatami with beautiful "Maiko" girl. I could touch essence of Japan and graceful.

I eagerly want hold like this event if I have a chance. I am deeply grateful to Mr. Yoneda for this plan.
